Eric Chad, Partner, Merchant &amp; Gould P.C., has earned the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Eric counsels clients on a variety of issues relating to privacy and data security, including the development and implementation of security and privacy policies and compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. He also serves as the co-chair of Merchant &amp; Gould’s Internet, Cybersecurity, and E-Commerce practice group and chairs the firm’s internal information security committee. Outside of the data privacy and security world, Eric also practices all forms of intellectual property litigation.
